Lynn Weatherson LAc

Lynn Weatherson brings extensive knowledge of the body from her combined backgrounds in exercise science, massage and acupuncture.  Her work began as a personal trainer for several years, and during this time she witnessed the profound effects that exercise has on improving health. As a result she decided to pursue massage as an adjunct therapy. This blended skill set allowed her the opportunity to better serve the athletes she worked alongside in their pursuit of health.

Lynn then sought out another healing modality - acupuncture - for her own musculoskeletal injuries, and she fell in love with the profound physical effects that it created. Lynn also noticed other amazing positive side effects including improved sleep, digestion, and a feeling of balance that exercise or massage had never brought out alone. It was upon this discovery that Lynn decided she wanted to pursue a degree in acupuncture to help athletes and others achieve optimal wellness too.

Lynn holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University and is Licensed by the Minnesota Medical Board. She is also a Massage Therapist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health.

She believes that there are other choices in healthcare besides the traditional Western medicine ideology and that the body can be its own natural healer when partnered with other natural health care options like acupuncture, Chinese Medicine and massage therapy.

Lynn has gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings. Her expertise shines when working with musculoskeletal injuries and pain, but she has also been trained to treat sleep and digestive disorders, women’s health and emotional trauma. She has a passion for creating physical and emotional balance between the body, spirit and mind. Her comprehensive knowledge of the body makes her your ideal health care partner when seeking care for:

After graduating with a B.S. in Community Education, Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1999, Dr. Montgomery spent the next six years as a collegiate and youth soccer coach.
